Intel Sales and Marketing Conference Walk-In Loop
This was shown as a background walk-in video at Intel's Sales and Marketing Conference in 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was viewed by an audience of over 5000 people. The animation was built in three weeks using Adobe After Effects. The silhouette footage was shot on a RED ONE camera and keyed/animated using AE's Keylight.
DNA Sequencing Technology Demonstration
Intel's Medical Research Branch asked me to develop a video outlining the process of separating and resequencing DNA. This video was developed over the course of 6 weeks using Maya, Illustrator, Photoshop, and edited in Final Cut Pro. The 3D elements were rendered off-site at a render farm in Los Angeles.
Intel Bong - Internal PR Video
Intel's "bong" signature is world famous and appears at the end of virtually all of the companie's commercials or promotional videos. A group of Intel employees was hand selected in 2009 to appear in the latest version of Intel's campaign. Taking advantage of the opportunity, a camera crew was dispatched to get quotes from a wide range of Intel cultures and perspectives. The results were used in this internal promotional video. All animation was done in Adobe After Effects with video shot on the RED ONE and corrected using Apple's Final Cut Pro and Color.
Silicon Chef Processor Animation
Intel asked me to develop a video showcasing a specific processor's performance using the television program "Iron Chef" as an analogy. This video was developed in 2 months using a variety of 2D and 3D applications. All editing was completed using Final Cut Pro.
Merom Chip Animation
After the Silicon Chef success, Intel asked me to develop a second animation which illustrates several features of the Centrino Core 2 Duo processor. We optimized the workflow and used newer machines for rendering which allowed us to include motion blur and to render using Maya's Mental Ray render engine. The result was a higher quality end result whiel retaining the same timeframe and budget as previous projects. Tools used include Maya, Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Final Cut Pro.
DNS Sequencing Technology Demonstration - Rev 01
This is the preliminary video which was developed as both a first revision as well as an animatic "storyboard" for the DNA Sequencing video which appears above. All work was completed using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects. This project was completed - from concept to delivery - in under one week. It has no audio because it was intended to be narrated by a speaker.
